Leather Wench here your one and only source into Myrtle Beach's leather world. Here in Jamin Town we are getting ready for our FAVORITE time of year. BIKE RALLY!!!!!!! Since I was young I have heard a lot about rally time. My dad being a die hard biker participated in more than enough rallys. In fact him and my mom both used to work at a bar for the rallys and would be home at all hours of the night. I've heard some crazy stories over the years. I think its funny that my dad shopped here through the years and I end up working here. ANYWHO....
One thing that Jamin Jamie asks us to do (more like INSISTS) is dress up like we're in the 50's. Okay, I'll admit this part isn't all that bad. Me personally, I love dressing up. I seriously believe that I was born in the wrong generation. I'm more of an 80's chick. But I do love me some 50's music and the outfits. I always feel like I'm Sandy from Grease when I get to wear my poodle skirt! Grease is one of my all time favorite movies. I can watch it over and over and over again. Back on track, during rally we always have entertainment and that includes Elvis himself! (Well guys that like to pretend that they're Elvis.) We get live 50's music all day every day during bike rally. It draws quite a crowd and generally people seem to enjoy the live entertainmetn. Will admit the younger guy playing Elvis is rather charming...;)
But thats not all we have! You may have read previously about our Red Cross Auction. Every single rally; fall and spring, Jamin Jamie does an auction over the weekend. I don't just mean one big auction, I mean 3 different auction on 3 different days! He auctions off Jamin Leather merchindise and gives out freebies! All the money that is earned goes straight to the Red Cross. Even if you have no intrest in buying anything leather, it is a worthy cause and good entertainment.
That's a little insight on our bike rally. There is definetly a lot more that goes on here so you'll have to stop in to check it out!
What is your favorite part of rally?

Leather Wench here you're one and only source into Myrtle Beach's Leather World. If you didn't already know it is Girl Scout Cookie time! I am sure all around the U.S. Girl Scouts are delivering cookies each and every day. Being that I am a retired Girl Scout I know all about the wheelin and dealin and suckerin people to buy boxes and boxes of cookies. Of course, back when I was youngin I was very shy and didn't like talking to people so I didn't sell much. Ha! My sister on the other hand sold a whole butt load of them during her Girl Scout years. You know, each year they seem to switch up at least two of the cookies. My favorites were the Lemon Sandwich cookies, can't remember their names but they were awesome. Now they have some kinda lemon flavored short bread cookie covered in powder sugar. Bleh. I think there is a new cookie out today called Thank You Berrry Much. Would you imagine that it has berries in it? Haven't tasted those yet. Let's go back to the original Girl Scout Cookies shall we?
- Thin Mints
Now they've added so many more to the collection and I am sure each and every one of them are delicious. A few new ones include...
- Savannah Smiles
- Thanks a lot
- Dulce De Leche
- Cranberry Citrus Crisps
Sounds yummy! Not really my taste but hey I'm sure there are people out there that love them. I bet some of ya'll are reading this and thinking what does this have to do with leather? Well Jamin Jamie is kind enough to let troops store their cookies here in our shop while they deliver them so many at a time. Ain't he sweet? In return they give a couple boxes of free cookies. I mean hey FREE COOKIES! I took a poll and here are the office favorites here at Jamin Leather.
- Thin Mints (Clearly these are the winner)
- Dosidos (My personal favorite)
-Samos (Jamin Jamie's favorite because hes nutty)
Gives you an insight about our little Jamin Family.
Whats you're favorite girl scout cookie?

Leather Wench here. Your one and only source into Myrtle Beach's leather world. Wanna know a secret? I have 5 tattoos! I've been told on more than one occasion that I don't look like the kind of girl that would ever get a tattoo but alas, I have 5. Each mean something special to me and I have no regrets in getting any of them. I'll give a you a little insight on each of them.
My very first tattoo I got when I turned 18. My daddy took me to the tattoo parlor so he and I could get tattoos at the same time. While we didn't get identical ones, we got them for the same reason. In memorial of his father, my grandfather. My papa was in the air force and daddy got his badge tattoo'd on his inner left forarm. My grandfather absolutely loved to garden, so I have a purple rose on my right foot. I know, the foot is one of the hardest places to get a tattoo especially for a first tattoo! But hey I got threw it fine!
Second tattoo I got was the summer I was 19. Its the japanese symbol for dream. Yes I've heard it before, how do you know that really says dream? Well truth is I really don't but in my mind it says dream! I always have belived that you should never give up on your dreams and that you should always chase them no matter what they are! Keeping your dreams alive!
My third tattoo is a heart with the bass clef and the treble clef. All throughout high school I did show choir and I loved it. Now I'm not the next Carrie Underwood but I was pretty good at dancing if I do say so myself :) I love music and I always will
My 4th and 5th tattoo I got within the same night and that was when I got back from my honeymoon. Which was also during bike week! I have on my lower left hip a crown. Why you ask? Because I fully beleive that every girl is a princess is some sort of way. It doesn't matter your past but every girl deserves to be treated like a princess. End of story. In my husbands eyes I am his queen and he is my king. Which leads me to my final tattoo which is the words Unum Cor which translates to One heart. My loving husband has Unus amor on his which translates to One Love. Since we got married we are now one instead of two so One Heart One Love <3
So my question of the day is this: How many Tattoos do you have and which is your favorite?
Until next time

Leather wench here your one and only source into Myrtle Beach's Leather world. I don't know about Wretched Rojo but I myself think that I am a very colorful person. I love bright colors. Especially pink, purple, green, blue, and yellow. My absolute favorite color is purple. I even have a new car that is an awesome shade of purple and it has SPARKLES! I love sparkles, my beautiful diamond ring is just so shiny :) Being a girl of course I went through many different colors throughout my life. My room was at first barbie pink, with barbie wall paper and stickers. Yes I said wall paper. Seems like forever ago. Then once I outgrew barbie I had it painted a dark purple color with a purple blue and green comfortor. That was througout my middle school years. Once in high school that purple had to go, so I chose Neon Green. Which I still don't understand why I did but hey I was young and dumb. Once I got bored of that I chose a lighter purple with zebra print sheets. I love animal print! Cheetah print is my signature look :) So being that I love colors, when I first came to Jamin Leather I noticed all of the colored leather. Didn't really know that there was a lot but we have a little bit of every color.
Some of these items I own ;)
Whats you're favorite shade of leather?

THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL POST
I'm not telling you, which side of the aisle to stand or who to vote for. When I've got something to say, I'll say it! No sooner; no later!
So, I recently saw the movie "Lone Survivor". If you haven't heard of it, you live under a rock and can read about it here:
Or you can read the book that it's based on. Buy it here: http://www.amazon.com/Lone-Survivor-Eyewitness-Account-Operation/dp/0316044695
It's an AMAZING movie to say the least. Short synopsis: It's a war movie based on ACTUAL events. Great men lost their lives so other great men could keep theirs. The sad part is there are so many stories, like this one, that are not told and don't need to be. There are men and women who risk their lives so you can enjoy your foamy Starbucks and Toyota Prius.
You know what these heroes ask for in return? NOTHING. Every single veteran's hand that I have shaken said they were "just doing his duty" and "it was his pleasure". Every single one was thankful for the appreciation. All deserve a hero's welcome, even if it's just a handshake and a "Thank You".
All gave some, some gave all.

Leather Wench here. Your one and only source into Myrtle Beach's leather world. Thinking about what I could blog about and I am going to share a little bit about myself today. Well at last what my favorite TV shows are. Really and truly, I don't watch a lot of normal tv, I normally watch Netflixs. Which is basically TV on demand. You can watch movies or you can watch tv shows that you've missed. Best part is they have all the seasons on tv. It's great!!!!! Right now I'm in the middle of watching Gossip Girl. I'm only on season 2 and there are 6 seasons. I have quite a ways to go. I've also watched all of Glee and Pretty Little Liars. Those 2 show still air on tv! Gossip girl is sadly over in Season 6.
Fun fact of the day!
Did you know that Jamin Leather used to have its OWN tv show? It still airs today but normally at 2 in the morning on the tourist tv channels. Click the link below to watch some episodes of Leather Beach. One of the girls that stars in it, is actually a local that performs at Carolina Opray! Check it out I promise you won't be disappointed.
Have any questions about Jamin Leather and what we have to offer? Check out our youtube channel and you will get answers.

Leather Wench here, your one and only source into Myrtle Beach's Leather world. Here today I have with me The Cat Lady. We are going to talk to here to see what she does here at Jamin Leather. And yes we are going to get ALL the details from start to finish.
Cat lady starts off her day by taking her lovable dog out for a little walk. After walking the dog, she goes inside and cleans her kitty cats litter box. (Hence the name Cat Lady ;) ) Of course after doing that dirty job, she showers. After she is squeaky clean, her loving cats need to be fed. (Just so they can make her clean the litter box again. Then, its her turn for food and she cooks a healthy breakfast which normally consists of buttermilk biscut and chocolate milk. Out the door she goes after breakfast! Cat Lady rides in her Jeep Jeep for about 20 mins while listening to 80's music while on the way to Jamin Leather!
Once here, she deposits her jacket on her desk, and makes herself comfy. Depnding on which day it is, she has different tasks. But generally its all the same at the end of the day. TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER. Thats right, your read that correct. Cat Lady is here to take care of you!! But while she is a very awesome customer service representative, she is also a bangin' photo editior! Cat lady certiantly does have an eye for beautiful things. (Like leather of course!) And thats not all folks, she is also our social media wench! After a long hard day in the office, she heads home to walk her dog and eat dinner. While she is a leather wench like me, she also does her own photography business on the side.
Thats all for now. Sorry ya'll if you fell asleep. Tune in next time for something interesting.

Wretched Rojo (that's pronounced Ro-Ho) here. The name is Spanish for "Red". You gotta meet me in person to know where the "rojo" comes from.
I'm new to the Jamin' Family. I figured this blog needed a bit more testosterone than that offered by Leather Wench and Cat Lady. Not that there's anything wrong with the ladies. They look and smell better than I do.
I've been riding for about 3 years now but I jumped in head first. I'm not your weekend warrior or RUB (Rich Urban Biker). I RIDE! Not just on weekends; not just when it's sunny, clear, above 60 degrees. I'm ALWAYS on my scoot. What do I ride? A 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad FI. It USED TO look like an old man bike but I'm quickly getting rid of the unnecessary parts and such.
Anyway, I just moved from Oklahoma City, OK. Mostly, so my wife and I could settle down and raise a family in the SOUTH. Also, to escape the crappy weather. This year it looks like we brought it with us. Oh well, what can you do? I still put my knees in the breeze no matter how cold. We love it in Myrtle Beach; the people are real nice.
Come by the shop when you're in town, say howdy!
